AFC Motorsport is a new Isle of Man based road racing team and was set up by Leslie and Tina Carter in the Autumn of 2011. The aim of the team is to provide talented riders with the opportunity to race when they are unable to fund their own projects or find the required support and sponsorship.

With the help of our sponsors we have been able to purchase two JHS TT spec Suzuki SV650's   (www.jhsracing.co.uk) for the 2012 racing season. These machines will be featured at the teams media launch which will take place at Kingsmeadow football ground, the home of AFC Wimbledon, on 10th March 2012.

We chose the Supertwins class because it is the by far the most inexpensive class at the TT in which we can afford to enter competitive machines. The costs of the other classes we looked at were too expensive to achieve in our first year. Hopefully in 2013 we will add another class of bike but for now we are concentrating on the Supertwins.
